How to Connect a PS2 to an HP Flat Monitor

If you don't have enough space on your desk for both a TV and a monitor or simply don't have the cash to buy a TV set just to hook up to your console, you can connect your PlayStation 2 to your HP flat computer monitor--or any computer monitor--with the right equipment.

Things You'll Need

  • PlayStation 2 A/V cables
  • VGA cable
  • VGA box

Instructions

      Connect your A/V cables to the back of your PlayStation 2 and plug the red, white and yellow connectors into the appropriate inputs on the VGA box.

      Connect the VGA cable to the VGA input on the computer monitor and the VGA box.

      Plug in and power on your computer monitor, PlayStation 2 console and VGA box.
