God of War Infinite Magic Tips

God of War is an action game for Playstation 2. You play the role of Kratos, who you control to fight the minions of Ares and save your family. At the game's start, you wield an array of powerful combination moves as well as magic. One of the known glitches in the game is having infinite magic. This is accomplished by ignoring Aphrodite's objective after slaying Medusa in the beginning of the game.
  1. Medusa's Defeat

    • Defeat Medusa to progress to Aphrodite's objective. Interrupt her green laser attack, also known as her Stone Gaze move, by using Poseidon's Rage then opening into combo attacks. Repeat this process until she is defeated.

    Aphrodite's Wall

    • Do not complete Aphrodite's objective after defeating Medusa, which is to use Medusa's head on the minotaurs that appear soon after the monster's defeat. Instead, head over to the doorway and try to access the ledge. This can be done by jumping, using Poseidon's Rage, then immediately jumping again. Pull yourself up on the door ledge.

    Beyond Aphrodite's Wall

    • Use the jump, Poseidon's Rage, and jump combo from the door ledge to access the top of the room. If done with the right timing, you will glitch the wall's boundary by climbing onto an invisible platform above the room itself.

    Moving Ahead

    • Jump forward from the invisible platform. For a point of reference, there will be a wall directly ahead of you from this position. If you jump towards it, you go through and fall onto the corridor beyond Aphrodite's Wall. Do not walk to the side, or you will fall out of the map itself and die. Once you've landed in the corridor, you can use magic freely while your magic power regenerates rapidly.
