Take a horse (or capture one) and drive straight for Zhang Jiao's altar in the center of the map of Ji Province. It is very easy to complete and a quick ticket to 1,500-2,000 experience. Ignore everyone around Zhang Jiao and defeat Pei Yuan Shao and Zhang Jiao; the stage is over!
Play Guan Yu's Escape with a friend the first few times to get the feel of the level. Get better experience playing on Guan Yu's side. While hard on higher levels, this stage gives excellent experience and is THE best place to farm weapons and items! There are lots of officers to defeat and next to every gate has a box with a weapon, an item, health or musou bonus.
Lure away the Gate Captains into combat with regular forces, and the reinforcements from the gate just keep coming. These few points during the Battle of Jing Province and the Battle of Chi Bi are excellent for sitting there and laying waste to scores of troops!
Officer-hunt tons at the Battle of He Fei Castle if you play from the Wu side. The castle is monstrous and packed to the gills with Wei officers and sub-officers!
Do not jump into Wu Zhang Plains lightly! This 5-star battle is one of the most difficult, but also gives one of the highest scores for its completion. There are swarms of troops on either side, a string of objectives to meet that can swing the tide of battle drastically, and some very tough officers!
