How to Get an EyeToy to Work for the Computer

The EyeToy camera for the Play Station 2 captures digital images for use in EyeToy-enabled games. The camera can also be used as a webcam on your computer. Windows includes a native driver utility to help you locate and install the necessary driver that will allow you to display images from the EyeToy on your PC.

  Plug the USB cable from the EyeToy into an open USB port on your computer.

  Click "Start" and type "update" into the search field. Click the "Windows Update" option that appears in the list of results. Click "Check For Updates" to display a list of the hardware devices connected to your computer.

  Click the "Logitech EyeToy" entry and click "OK." Click "Install Updates" to install the EyeToy drivers to your computer. Click "Start" and click "Windows Movie Maker." Click the "Webcam Video" option to display the image from the EyeToy on your computer.
