How to Convert Gameshark to Codebreaker

The Codebreaker is a cheat device developed by Pelican Accessories for the Sony PlayStation 2. The device allows players to modify the way a game functions by altering the game code. The GameShark is a similar cheat device developed by Mad Catz. While these two devices perform the same basic functions, they do not utilize the same code format. In order to use a code designed for the GameShark device on the Codebreaker, the code format must be converted. The Maxconvert application is an unofficial program used to convert codes between multiple cheat devices.

     Download the Maxconvert application from the Codemasters Project website.

     Launch the Maxconvert application.

     Select "GS2v3-4" from the "Input" drop-down menu.

     Type the GameShark code into the input text entry field.

     Select "CBv1-6" from the "Output" drop-down menu.

   • 6

     Click the "Convert" button to change the GameShark code into a Codebreaker code. The converted is code is displayed in the "Output" window.
