Where Do I Find the Nautalis Rod in Castlevania: Curse of Darkness for the PlayStation 2?

̶0;Castlevania: Curse of Darkness̶1; is a game in the ̶0;Castlevania̶1; horror adventure game series. ̶0;Curse of Darkness̶1; was released in 2005 and is set three years after ̶0;Castlevania III.̶1; Over the course of the game, you must seek out the aid of demonic creatures called Innocent Devils, each of which has a special type. The mage-type Innocent Devil can become a Nautilus Rod, the only means by which you can kill the blood skeletons.
  1. Innocent Devils

    • The Innocent Devils are demon servants that help you on your quest. In the game, they act as computer-controlled allies who can learn spells and fight by your side. Innocent Devils come in five main types: Fairy, Battle, Bird, Mage and Devil. Mage IDs have magical offensive and defensive spells similar to those of most fantasy wizard game classes. Mage-types can also obtain a number of rods and other special items, each with its own magical ability.

    Nautilus Rod

    • You cannot find the Nautilus Rod. Instead, you must use Evo Crystals received from battles to evolve your Mage ID to obtain it. The Nautilus Rod provides your Innocent Devil with a rod made from a deep sea monster and the Purify ability. The Nautilus Rod evolves out of the Scissor Rod, and requires 70 white, yellow and green Evo Crystals . It evolves into either the Eyeball Rod or Embryo Rod. Once your Mage Innocent Devil has this rod, it automatically casts Purify on Blood Skeletons and other reanimating monsters.

    Blood Skeletons

    • These monsters have appeared in almost every "Castlevania" game, though they may sometimes be called Red Skeletons. Blood Skeletons walk slowly forward and engage in no complex attacks. However, when killed by normal weapons, they soon reassemble themselves. These monsters appear in the Bahlijet Mountains and Gabrialdi Temple. You can only kill them completely using the Purify ability and the Holy Whip, which prevent them from reassembling themselves.

    Considerations

    • Evolving your Mage-type Innocent Devil from Scissor Rod mode to Nautilus Rod mode is relatively simple. Just kill enough creatures to collect 70 Evo Crystals of the appropriate color. However, you must keep the Scissor Rod Mage active during all these battles. Using a different type of Innocent Devil provides that Devil with the Evo crystals, rather than the Mage.
