How to Get Rid of the Top Bar in The Sims 2 for PS2

"The Sims 2" is the sequel to "The Sims," a game that allows people to create cities and families on their Playstation 2 game console. If you have bars on your TV screen, you need to reset the aspect ratio. Having bars on the screen will give off a smaller image of the game and make you miss crucial points of gameplay.

     Turn on your TV and boot The Sims 2 game on your Playstation 2 game console.

     Look on your TV̵7;s remote for the ̶0;Aspect Ratio̶1; button.

     Press the ̶0;Aspect Ratio̶1; button to access the ̶0;16:9̶1; setting. This will stretch the image so the black bars disappear.
