How to Make It Rain in Okami

When playing "Okami" for the PS2, you have a large paintbrush you can use to affect the game world. Throughout the game, you learn different brush strokes that have different effects; one gives you the power to make rain. This brush stroke, called the Deluge, must be unlocked by watering four graves behind a temple in Sei-An. Once unlocked, you can perform the brush stroke at any time to summon rainfall.

Instructions

- 1
  Play through the story line of "Okami" until you defeat the boss character Ninetails. At this point, you are eligible to unlock the Deluge Brush Stroke.

  Visit Himiko's Palace in Sei-An City. Rather than entering the palace, go around to the back of the building.

  Speak to the woman standing next to the raised platform. She will ask you to sprinkle water on the four graves behind the raised platform to help release the spirits of the dead.

  Climb up the raised platform to stand next to the pool of water. Draw lines using the paintbrush to connect the pool to the grave stones. This will water the stones. A cutscene will play in which Nuregami will teach you the Deluge stroke.

  Draw two vertical lines to activate the stroke and call down rain.
