How to Unlock Sub-Zero and Scorpion on Co-op in Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks

"Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks" focuses on the adventures of Liu Kang and Kung Lao as they travel throughout Outworld during the events of "Mortal Kombat II." Although they are the heroes of the story, they aren't the most popular characters. The most popular characters, and the ones most people associate with the "Mortal Kombat" franchise, are the ninjas Scorpion and Sub-Zero. You have the opportunity to play as these characters during the story mode, taking the place of the Shaolin monks.

     Complete the single-player mode with Liu Kang. This will unlock Scorpion for play in the story.

     Complete the story mode with Kung Lao to make Sub-Zero available to you.

     Start a new file. You will notice Scorpion and Sub-Zero have become available on the character selection screen.
