How to Boot a PCSX2 Game

PCSX2 is a hardware emulator program for Windows, Mac OS and Linux that mimics the functions of the PlayStation 2. The benefits of this program include save states on command, much higher resolution, texture filtering and anti-aliasing. PS2 games can be run in this program from backup disc images or original discs with compatible modern optical drives, creating an enhanced environment that improves the performance and appearance of games from an older console generation.

Instructions

    • 1

Download and burn PS2 BIOS Dumper, then insert the DVD into your PS2. Attach a flash drive to the PS2's USB slot, then turn on the PS2. When you see the message "Dumping NVM Completed," detach the USB drive. Copy the *.bin files to a folder on your computer.
