How to Do Fatalities in Vs. Mode in MK:SM

Unlike most games in the Mortal Kombat series, Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks is an action/beat-em-style video game that tasks the player with advancing through individual levels while fighting swarms of enemies. The game's VS. mode, however, is a traditional Mortal Kombat fighting game, fully equipped with blood, gore and Fatalities. If you want to perform a Fatality in the VS. mode of Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, you can do so in a few simple steps.

  Highlight the "VS" mode option on the game's main menu, and press the "X" or "A" button. Highlight the fighter you wish to use, and press the "X" or "A" button to select the character and begin the fight.

  Fight the opposing character using a combination of punches, kicks and special moves until the opponent's health bar is depleted to win the first round.

  Repeat step two to win the second round. Once the second round is over, the opposing character will stand up in a dazed state and you will be prompted to "Finish Him" by the game's announcer.

  Input the Fatality code while the opponent is still standing. Once the Fatality code has successfully been input, your character will perform the Fatality. For example, if you want to perform Sub-Zero's first fatality, you would press "Right, Down, Right, Right" on the controller's D-Pad, followed by the "Quick" attack button while the opponent is dazed.
