"The Hobbit" is a PlayStation 2 video game based on J.R.R. Tolkien's novel, which was a prequel to his "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. The game follows the book's story, starting from when your character, Bilbo Baggins, is approached by dwarves for an adventure, until the final battle with Smaug, a dragon. There are several occasions where Bilbo will need to jump further than he can on his own. With the aid of the walking stick, you will be able to launch Bilbo further.

Press the "L1" button.

Immediately after, press "X" and Bilbo will use his stick to catapult.
