How to Get Turles in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai

There are many different ways to unlock characters in "Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2" for the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii. Characters can be unlocked by completing specific battles or missions throughout the story mode, by beating certain characters while controlling the right character, and by fusing items together. Turles can only be unlocked using the third option, and he requires two specific items that you can earn by playing through the game's story mode.

Instructions

  Select the "Evolution Z" option from the main menu. This takes you to an options menu where you can look at the Z items you've attained throughout the game.

  Go to the "Item Fusion" option, which is where you can fuse any two Z items you've earned. The items are divided into their Potara color categories.

  Navigate to the list of Purple Potara items. Select a Lower Class Saiyan item for one of the slots in the fusion process. Select a Fruit from the Tree of Might item for the other slot.

  Highlight the "Yes" option and press "X" when you are asked to confirm your selections. Watch the fusion animation. When the animation is finished, Turles will be unlocked.
