How Do I Use Spells on Drakan Ancient Gates?

Place the game disc into the PlayStation 2 and press power. The game will automatically load and your character will be on the back of a dragon.

Dismount the dragon by pressing the X button on the PlayStation 2 controller. The main human character will dismount the dragon.

Press and hold the Circle button while pressing a specific sequence on the directional buttons to cast a spell. There are 10 obtainable spells in the game. Spells can be cast so long as your character has enough mana.

Press and hold the Circle button and press Right, Up, Down, Left to cast the Fear spell. This spell causes one opponent to flee in terror for a duration of 30 to 70 seconds. The mana cost ranges from 15% to 20% of your total.

Press and hold the Circle button and press Down, Right, Up, Left, Down to cast the Clone spell. This creates an image of you that fights alongside you. The duration ranges from 20 to 40 seconds. The mana cost ranges from 35% to 55% of your total.

Press and hold the Circle button and press Down, Right, Left to cast the Time Slow spell. This spells slows down time in the game world, but allows you to react in normal time. The duration for this spell ranges from 30 to 70 seconds. The mana cost ranges from 30% to 40% of your total.

Press and hold the Circle button and press Left, Right, Left, Right to cast the Rejuvenate spell. This spells restores some of your lost life energy. The amount restored ranges from 15% to 25% of your maximum life energy. The mana cost ranges from 15% to 25% of your total.

Press and hold the Circle button and press Up, Right, Left, Down to cast the Impale spell. This is an attack spell that impales foes, doing 20 points of damage. The mana cost is 30% of your total.

Press and hold the Circle button and press Down, Left, Right, Down to cast the Combust spell. This spells ignites opponents on fire. The damage ranges from 20 to 39. The mana cost ranges from 25% to 32% of your total.

Press and hold the Circle button and press Up, Left, Right, Down to cast the Lightning spell. This spells shoots forth a bolt of lightning, scorching your foes for 14 to 25 points of damage. The mana cost ranges from 20% to 35% of your total.

Press and hold the Circle button and press Up, Left, Right, Up to cast the Ice Blast spell. This spell freezes your foes with a blast of icy air, damaging them with 12 to 29 points of damage. The mana cost ranges from 20% to 30% of your total.

Press and hold the Circle button and press Up, Left, Down, Right, Up to cast the Fireball spell. This spell blasts an area with fire, doing anywhere between 8 and 18 points of damage to anyone within the blast radius. The mana cost ranges from 15% to 20% of your total.

Press and hold the Circle button and press Left, Up, Down, Right to cast the Soul Stealer spell. This spells damages your foe with 12 points of damage, and then heals you by the same amount. The mana cost is 25% of your total.
