How to Obtain Leader Abilities in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists of the Roses

In "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists of the Roses," having a strong deck with a properly leveled Deck Leader can make all the difference in winning or losing. A Deck Leader manages your deck and can learn a new leader ability once it has obtained enough experience points and received the proper rank within the hierarchy of your deck. Its leader ability can range from increasing the strength of all of your monsters to forcing your opponent to remove a card from his hand each turn.

  Press the "X" button on a card within the "Edit Deck" screen, and press "X" again on the "Make Deck Leader" option to make the card the leader of your deck.

  Defeat enemies, keep your Deck Leader in battle for consecutive turns and end the match with your Deck Leader face-up to gain experience points with it. As your Deck Leader gains experience, you will unlock additional levels for your deck hierarchy.

  Press the "X" button on your card within the "Edit Deck" screen, and press "X" again on the "Promote" option to promote your leader card. Promote it as much as possible. Each card has a different, unspecified level that it must reach to gain its Leader Ability. Once you've promoted the card to the required level, it will receive its Leader Ability.
