How to Get Souls in Soulcalibur III

"Soulcalibur III" is the first game in the "Soulcalibur" series to allow you to create custom fighters with their own disciplines. Although you can create fighters using the default weapon disciplines, another ability of the character creation function is the "Soul of ..." disciplines, which replicate the movesets of the existing fighters. For example, a character with the "Soul of Mitsurugi" moveset has Mitsurugi's exact moves and fighting style. You can get all the Soul disciplines by creating a custom character and playing through the "Chronicles of the Sword" campaign mode.

Instructions

  Unlock all the character job classes. You start out with the ability to create a thief, dancer, barbarian, monk, ninja, pirate or saint. You can unlock the assassin, gladiator, knight, samurai, sage and sword master classes.

  Go to the Item Shop Menu whenever you receive the message that you've unlocked a new job class and buy it.

  Level up your Chronicles of the Sword characters to level 30 by playing through the campaign to get the following Soul disciplines at Level 30. Each job class has two Soul disciplines associated with it.
  
  Gladiator: Rock and Seong Mi-na
  
  Knight: Siegfried and Raphael
  
  Pirate: Ivy and Cervantes
  
  Dancer: Voldo and Xianghua
  
  Barbarian: Nightmare and Astaroth
  
  Assassin: Tira and Voldo
  
  Ninja: Taki and Setsuka
  
  Monk: Kilik and Maxi
  
  Sage: Sophitia and Cassandra
  
  Saint: Talim and Zasalamel
  
  Samurai: Mitsurugi and Yoshimitsu
  
  The sword master class cannot use Soul disciplines.
