How to Get Orbs in Jak II

"Jak II" players can unlock items and cheats by collecting Precursor Orbs. There are 286 orbs scattered over the main game missions, bonus missions and the mini-games. The best rewards are available after the player collects 200 orbs. "Jak II," which is also known as "Jak II: Renegade" and "Jak and Dexter II," was a PlayStation 2 exclusive release in 2003.

  Collect 94 orbs through mission areas. Explore every part of each map as orbs are often placed in overlooked and hard to reach locations. Not every level includes orbs..

  Locate 72 orbs during the underground missions that become available as you play through the main area. Visit kiosks in Haven City to activate specific missions that reward precursor orbs upon completion.

  Win 36 orbs through the gun course mini-games.

  Score 120,000 points on the JET-Board Stadium Challenge for nine orbs. String tricks together during each run to maximize bonuses and reach the point threshold.

  Accumulate 72 orbs through racing games. Each race is worth a maximum of nine orbs if you meet the time requirement.

  String symbols together before they drop off the screen to score 1,000 points in the Master Onin Game. The reward for 1,000 points is three orbs.
