How to Use Action Replay Saves on a Modded PS2

The Action Replay software for the PlayStation 2 gaming console allows users to input game saves to skip levels or gain an advantage on PS2 games. Modded PS2's have features such as video streaming and hard drive integration. If you have the Action Replay software disk, you can load these game saves with just a few button clicks on your PS2 controller. You don't have to be a gaming enthusiast to load the game saves onto your PlayStation. You can do it yourself with little hassle.

  • PS2 memory card
  • Gaming booklet (comes with Action Replay)

Instructions

      Enter a PS2 memory card into your PS2's memory card slot.

      Turn your PS2 on and then put the Action Replay CD into the DVD drive. Close the drive and then wait for the Action Replay software to load on the system.

      Go to the "Expert Mode" option on the home screen and then click on the "Add New Game" option. Choose the game that you want to load a game save for from the list of PS2 games that appears on the screen.

      Refer to your gaming booklet for the game save that you want to enter into the software. Use your controller to enter the code into the blank and then press the "X" button.

      Wait for the code to load onto the memory card and then eject the Action Replay disk from the tray. Put your game into the tray and load the game with your new game save loaded.
