How to Get All the Orbin on Jak 3

The PlayStation 2 exclusive game "Jak 3" has 600 Precursor Orbs for players to collect. Precursor Orbs serve as a currency for various cheats and extras like infinite ammunition and invulnerability. A few abilities can help collect orbs. The most powerful abilities in the game, such as Unlimited Light Jak and Unlimited Dark Jak, are more expensive than most other items, but few of the other unlockables are as practical. Purchased cheats such as Unlimited Light Jak can help in collecting more orbs by reaching difficult locations and slowing down time.

Instructions

  Explore each area during the main missions of the game. The Spargus maps alone has 55 orbs to locate. Search on building rooftops, under platforms, in pots, underwater and behind other objects to locate these orbs.

  Purchase the Unlimited Light Jak upgrade. This feature costs 50 Precursor Orbs and immediately makes it possible to collect more orbs.

  Continue searching game maps to locate more orbs. The Haven City areas have 65 more orbs to collect, including 17 stretched across the telegraph wires in Haven City Port, which can be reached by using Light Jak to reach the rooftop pipes and the Hover Board to grind across the wires. Similarly the passage in Haven City Palace Ruins contains seven orbs and is only accessible using Light Flight. A total of 30 more orbs can be collected in the Monk Temple and Sewers. Search all areas completely.

  Use Metalhead Skull Gems to purchase challenges and orb searches. Metalhead Skull Gems can be collected from crates in Spargus City and by killing Metalheads in Haven City. The more gems used to purchase the challenge, the more gems may be collected.

  Complete orb search challenges. Light Jak's Time Slow can help to complete the challenge before time runs out.

  Compete in chases, hunts and other mini-games. There are dozens of side missions included throughout "Jak 3," each of which reward Precursor Orbs upon completion of a challenge specific to the mission.
