How to Save the Game with a PS2 SNES Emulator

SNES Station is a homebrew program for the Sony PlayStation 2 that allows you to play Super Nintendo game files -- called "ROMs" -- on your PS2. The games will play exactly the same as if you were using an original Super Nintendo system, with one exception: The method in which you can save your game data. The PS2 must save the saved game data onto your PS2's memory card rather than to the cartridge the SNES game is expecting. This means there is an extra step you must take to ensure the game saves properly.

Instructions

    • 1

Play the game normally until you come to the point at which you want to save your data.

    • 2

Save your game normally through the SNES game's save system.

    • 3

Press both the L3 and R3 analog buttons on your PS2's controller. This will return you to the main SNES Station menu and create the save file on your PS2's memory card.
