How to Install a PCSX2

PCSX2 is a software emulator for computers that allows users to run PlayStation 2 games. Because of the architectural differences between computer and PlayStation 2 hardware, some games are not in a completely playable state. The developers of the emulator continually release new updates to increase the compatibility of games. A relatively powerful computer is needed to run the emulator, as the PlayStation 2 has various processing units that all run at different speeds, all of which have to be accurately emulated. As of 2011 the minimum hardware requirements for this emulator to work are: AMD 64 or Intel Pentium 4, 512MB RAM and a Pixel Shader 2.0 supporting card.
