How to Use a PSX2 Emulator

The PCSX emulator is a program that allows you to play Sony PlayStation 2 games on your computer. In order to use the emulator, it must be downloaded and installed on your computer. You must also have a copy of the PlayStation 2 BIOS for the emulator to function. Once installed, you can use this program to play your favorite PlayStation 2 games.

      Navigate to the PCSX2 downloads page.

      Click the "Download" button under the PCSX2 Installer to download the installation program.

      Double-click the file once it has downloaded to install to your computer.

      Click "Run," then "Next" and "Install." Allow the installation procedure to complete then click "Close"

      Run the PCSX2 program to open the initial configuration screen.

      Select your language then click "Next."

      Click "Configure" then set your desired video, audio, and controller input settings then click "Next."

      Click "Browse" then select your PlayStation 2 BIOS file.

      Click "System"then "Reboot Full." The Emulator will now run the PlayStation 2 BIOS. Enter your language and regional settings.

      Click "CDVD" then click "Iso Selector" then click "Browse." Select a PlayStation 2 game to begin playing.
