How to Get a Gang on GTA San Andreas for PS2

In "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" the main character, CJ, can recruit a gang to help him on his quest to take over San Andreas. Your friends and family from Grove Street are more than willing to back you up whenever you need them. Recruiting a gang on "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" requires no advanced skills, but the more respected you are in the community, the more gang members you can recruit.

  Find gang members with green clothing. They typically hang around Grove Street.

  Walk up to a gang member, hold down the target button and press "Up" on your directional pad to recruit him. He will follow you around, providing backup for any mission or turf war you initiate.

  Repeat this process to recruit up to seven gang members, depending on your respect level. The quickest way to gain respect is by killing rival gang members and capturing gang territory through turf wars.

  Hold the "Down" button on the directional pad to dismiss your gang.
