How Do You Use the Ex Cards in Star Ocean 3?

Ex Cards in "Star Ocean 3" are used to get extra outfits for your characters in Versus Mode. Versus Mode is a bonus game unlocked after you find the Paracelsus's Table and complete the Aquatic Gardens of Surferio dungeon. Players can fight versus the computer or against another player. Combat in versus mode is very similar to regular gameplay, so it can be beneficial for players to practice with. The Ex Cards allow players to have more character selection and costume options in versus mode.

     Load "Star Ocean 3" and begin playing the game.

     Collect the Ex Cards as you travel through dungeons and cities until you find all 26 cards.

     Find the Paracelsus's Table in the Surferio Underwater Garden dungeon and then complete the dungeon by defeating Vox.

     Take the Table back to Welch in Peterny, which will unlock versus mode.

     Select different costumes or characters in versus mode depending on which cards you have collected.
