Get to the Ramp
Instead of heading out with your whole team, as you normally would, pick only one unit. Select Renchef and put him in the Gouf mobile suit with a shotgun. Run towards the gun tank, but strafe left and right as you do this, otherwise you will be shot and killed. Get to the wall and turn your back to it, because your back is an extremely vulnerable area. With your back against the wall, slide over to the ramp of the Guntank.
Option A
At his point you have two choices. The first of which is to run up the ramp towards the Guntank in front of you. Place your close range weapon in Guntank to destroy it and earn 6,000 points. You the call your team and instruct them to travel along the path on the right, while avoiding shots from the second Guntank.
Option B
This method also involves destroying the Guntank with a close range weapon. Once you've done this though, do not call on your team. Run down the ramp and up the other ramp, heading to the second Guntank. Destroy this weapon just as you did the first, for another 6,000 points. Call your friends and they will walk up the left path, free from gunfire.
Destroy the Big Tray
Big Trays are armored hovercrafts with a selection of canons and there is one in this level. These powerful weapons can more than stand their own against your team, but there is a trick to beating it easily and quickly. Use CPO Manning to shoot the cockpit from at least 800 feet away to destroy the Big Tray and finish the entire level. Defeating this enemy earns you 2,000 points.
