Instructions
Collect as many beans as you can. You collect beans by killing creatures. In turn, you use beans as currency to buy "cards" which are applied to increase your character's strength and abilities. These items will be plentiful in this level.
Enter the maze. Run forward and turn at the fourth left. Head straight and take the last left turn at the end of the path. Continue forward and go into the first right turn that you see. Keep moving forward until you reach a corner, at which point you must turn right. Go straight until you trigger a cut scene where Cedric saves you from a character named Viktor Krum.
Run away. You and Cedric will become separated as you are chased by vines. Escape vines while dodging incoming obstacles and branches. Run anywhere you need to -- because there is no specific direction to take.
Once the chase sequence is over, you will have to free Cedric, who is entangled in a wall. Two creatures called screwts will appear.
Kill the screwts. Do not attack them directly. Instead, allow them to miss you and hit the wall of hedges. Use your jinx spell --the "x" button on your PS2 controller-- to attack the screwts from behind. Cedric will be freed, followed by a cut scene showing both of you grabbing the Goblet of Fire.
