How to Make a Gamespy ID for Battlefield 2 on PS2

By successfully creating a GameSpy ID, gamers can connect to the PlayStation network and go head to head with their friends in online, mulitplayer matches. The creators of "Battlefield 2," teamed up with GameSpy to provide users with reliable gaming servers. To access the servers, you must first have a GameSpy account. A GameSpy ID can be created by visiting the official GameSpy website and filling out a few forms of information.

  Visit the official GameSpy website. You will be redirected to the homepage. Click "Register" located in the top, right corner of the page. You will be redirected to the "Account Registration" page.

  Type the corresponding information into each blank field, then check the box labeled "I Agree to the Terms of Service." Click "Create My Account." You will be redirected to the homepage.

  Visit your email inbox. Open the verification email sent by "IGN Entertainment." Allow the email to fully load then click "Verify Your Email Address."
