Is There Any Way to Remove Zombie Mail in Dragon Quest 8?

The Zombie Mail in "Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King" is a cursed item found in a treasure chest on the Northwest Isle. Players are unable to remove cursed items once they are equipped unless they visit a priest and receive a benediction. Priests are found in towns throughout the game, however, they charge a variable fee for providing a benediction depending on the cursed character's level. Once a player receives a benediction, they will automatically remove the cursed item.

Instructions

  Travel to any town located within the game. Press the "L1" button to access the map and see which town is closest to you. Alternatively, you can use the Hero's Zoom ability to instantly travel to any previously visited town.

  Visit the chapel, which is marked by a rosary on the map, in any town.

  Talk to the head priest standing behind a table. He will offer a menu of services that he can provide. Select "Benediction" and then select the character who is wearing the Zombie Mail. Agree to pay the fee, and the Zombie Mail will be automatically removed.
