Wanted Level Scale
"Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" features a six-star wanted level scale. Relatively minor crimes in the vicinity of a police officer will usually generate one star. The wanted level stars are cumulative and will rise when more crimes are committed in the sight of a pursuing officer. Lethal crimes such as the assassination of an officer with a firearm will immediately incur a three-star level. The more wanted level stars you accumulate, the more aggressive the police will be in bringing you to justice.
Disadvantages Of Getting Arrested
If you are arrested by the police in "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas," you will be transported to the nearest police station and stripped of all of your weapons. The police department will also impose a fine, taking 10 percent of your cash balance.
