How to Get to the Hypnomatic Part on Planet Smolg

With a name like "Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando," there should be little shock at the existence of a gun called the Hypnomatic in this game. Parts of this weapon are scattered all over the various worlds Ratchet and Clank must explore, often tucked away in obscure or hard-to-reach areas. On Planet Smolg, for instance, the Hypnomatic part is hidden inside a small building in the Distribution Facility area.

Instructions

- 1
  Go down the nearby rail when you first exit your ship onto Planet Smolg. This will take you into the "Distribution Facility" level.

  Kill the two Robo Guards that accost you at the end of the rails. Your MegaRocket Cannon is your best weapon against these enemies.

  Move forward and climb the crates at the end of the path until you find yourself inside a ship.

  Jump across the platforms immediately in front of you to enter a second ship. Kill the snapper enemies here with a weapon of your choosing, then turn left.

  Jump across to the ledge you see when you turn left, then climb the next stack of crates. At the top of the crates you will be accosted by Snappers and Grulches. Your Heavy Bouncer weapon will be especially effective here.

  Jump across the platforms after the Snappers and Grulches into yet another ship. Here you will come across an Infiltrator puzzle. Connect the line to the starting node to solve the puzzle, then continue through the force-field door.
- 7
  Kill the enemies on the other side of the force-field door, then go through the nearby small building. The Hypnomatic part will be on the other side.
