How to Create Zan in Monster Rancher 4

The "Monster Rancher" game series allows players to create monsters using video games, music CDs and DVDs. However, not all monsters are available at the start, and a disc containing a locked monster will fail to create the monster. In "Monster Rancher 4," one of the locked species is the Zan. You must acquire the Black Egg key item to unlock Zan for raising and breeding.

Instructions

- 1
  Win the Class A Official Tournament. This tournament is open to players who have attained an A breeder rank playing through the story.

  Watch the cutscene that takes place after the tournament.

  Explore the Promiass Ruins with your strongest monster until you reach the end of the dungeon. You will automatically exit upon reaching the end.

  Return to the Promiass Ruins two more times. The third time, you will meet the monster boss of the ruins, Garp. You will automatically receive Breeder Rank S, along with an invitation to view a battle, once you return from the ruins.

  Watch the tournament and you will be told to explore the Kalaragi Jungle.

  Explore the Kalaragi Jungle until you meet a man named Nazzeni.

  Battle his Zan, Nazzeni 2, and defeat it. When you win the battle, Nazzeni will award you the Black Egg, which will allow you to create Zan monsters from discs.
