How to Use the Ice Key in Banjo Tooie

The "Ice Key" in the original Banjo Kazooie game was a huge tease of an item -- it looked and sounded as if it should do something, but it ultimately did nothing.The Ice Key is actually useful in Banjo Tooie and is used to find and collect the Mega-Glowbo, which is used to turn Kazooie into the fiercely imposing "Dragon Kazooie." The Ice Key can be found in a sandy area in the Jinjo Village.

Instructions

  Go to Glitter Gulch once you have retrieved the Ice Key from Jinjo Village. Move through the Gulch until you get to the Waterfall Cavern area. You will notice a rock with Kazooie's face emblazoned on it under the water.

  Dive into the water and perform a Talon Torpedo into the rock to destroy it. Follow the tunnel that was hidden behind the rock until you emerge into the outdoors in front of a large chest.

  Open the chest with the Ice Key. You will obtain the legendary Mega-Glowbo.
