How to Disarm Booby Traps in PS2 ShellShock

In "ShellShock: Nam '67," you play as an American soldier experiencing the horrors of the Vietnam War. The Viet Cong have the advantage in the jungle, so you need to be on alert at all times to escape each battle with your life. Facing an enemy in a firefight is not the only danger here. Occasionally, you come across cleverly hidden booby traps. If you do not disarm these traps in time, you incur serious damage.

Instructions

- 1
  Play through the level until you see a "Warning" icon flash on your heads-up display. This means a booby trap is nearby.
- 2
  Look for, and locate, the booby trap. Walk up to the trap slowly. When "Disarm" appears on the screen, tap "X". A small, mini-game screen appears.
- 3
  Press the directional pad "Up," "Down," "Left" or "Right" to correspond to the arrows displayed on the screen. You must press the correct keys as fast as possible before the timer runs out. If time runs out, the trap explodes.
