Instructions
Access the shooting game's "Settings" menu before beginning the game. Locate the section entitled "Controller Settings," "Controller Configuration" or something similar. From the controller's settings screen, players can adjust the PS2 controls for increased speed.
Adjust the button layout to encourage faster movement. Map the button used to fire the weapon to one that can be pressed the fastest. For example, players may map the fire button to the "X" button because it is closest to the right analog stick. Select "Save," "Save Changes" or something similar to save changes to the button mapping.
Change the analog stick sensitivity. The sensitivity refers to the rate at which the gun will move upon being moved by the analog stick. Raise the sensitivity higher to increase the speed of gun movement. Save changes to the analog stick sensitivity.
Use the new controller settings in one of the game modes, such as Campaign, Single Player or Challenge. If a practice mode exists, test your faster control settings there before starting a competitive game. Use the faster settings to increase the speed of aiming at the target considerably. Press the button used to fire your weapon repeatedly to defeat the target.
