How to Get Grand Armor in Final Fantasy 12

The Grand Armor is the strongest heavy armor in "Final Fantasy XII," but it is also one of the more difficult to get. The only way to acquire it is from the monster Helvinik, and there is still a small chance he may drop it. There is, however, a secret glitch in the game you can use to your advantage. Do this right, and you not only can get the armor but get it numerous times.

Instructions

  Travel to the Necrohol of Nabudis in the land of Ivalice. The only place you can explore in the Necrohol is Verdpale Palace.

  Walk around the area and wait for random monster attacks. Any monsters you fight will give you experience, but you especially need to fight the Oversouls.

  Defeat six Oversouls and Helvinek will appear, instantly spawning and engaging the heroes in battle.

  Defeat Helvinek in battle and he may drop the Grand Armor. He is especially vulnerable to Holy-based attacks like the Holy spell and Excalibur sword.

  Have your character cross over the zone boundary in the battle zone before the text box showing your "EXP" and "LP" earned. This activates the game's Zone Out Glitch, and Helvinek will respawn so you can fight it again.

  Continue fighting and beating Helvinek until you get the Grand Armor. If you get it, you can still keep using the Zone Out Glitch to acquire multiple sets.
