How to Kill Pyramid Head

Pyramid Head is the first major boss players face in "Silent Hill 2" on the PlayStation 2. When you encounter Pyramid Head, he wields a large blade known as The Great Knife. This weapon is extremely dangerous, capable of killing you with only a single strike. Avoiding Pyramid Head's attacks is crucial because even his weakest attack will leave you with virtually no health. With the right strategy and a little skill, you can defeat Pyramid Head without losing any health.

Defeating Pyramid Head

  Enter the room in the apartment complex. Begin shooting as soon as you enter the room. Keep a close eye on how many rounds you have in your clip. You do not want to get caught reloading.

  Fire constantly at Pyramid Head during the battle to slow his movement and increase the time it takes him to approach you and strike.

  Watch for Pyramid Head to show signs of attacking you as he draws closer. When he prepares to strike, you will see him stop moving and lean back. Move to the left or right to dodge his attack. You can also run past him to the other side of the room and begin attacking, forcing him to begin his approach again.

  Continue using this pattern of firing and running away until you hear a siren begin to sound. It signals the end of the fight, and Pyramid Head will begin to leave the room. Do not attempt to follow him or attack him at this point because he will retaliate.
