"Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks" is a fast-paced, action-adventure game that is a spin-off of the traditional "Mortal Kombat" fighting games. The single player or cooperative campaign follows Kung Lao and/or Liu Kang as they attempt to stop Shang Tsung from trying to take over the Earth realm yet again, though you won't get to experience any of that if the disc fails to work. Unless the disc is scratched beyond repair, there are a few commonly used methods you can use to clean a scratched or dirty "Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks" disc.

Hold the "Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks" disc by its edges.

Put a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a lint-free, dry cloth and gently wipe the disc. Focus on the particularly dirtier areas on the disc.

Use a different lint-free, dry cloth to dry the disc. You can also let it sit to dry for five minutes.
