How to Output Playstation 2 Games to My Laptop Monitor

If you do not have a television or monitor to play your PlayStation 2 on, you can connect the console to your laptop screen. This enables the output for your PlayStation 2 to be displayed on your laptop. To connect your PlayStation 2 to your laptop, you will first need to purchase a USB video capture device. While the PlayStation 2 is connected to your laptop, you will still be able to use other programs and functions on your laptop.

  Turn on your laptop. Plug the USB video capture device into the USB slot on the side of your laptop. Press the device firmly into the slot to ensure it is securely connected.

  Connect the yellow, red and white cables on the PlayStation 2 scart cable into the corresponding color connections on the video capture device.

  Turn on the video capture device. Insert the CD that comes with the device and install the drivers on the computer.

  Open up the video viewing program that came with your video capture device. Turn on your PlayStation 2. You should now see the PlayStation 2 images displayed on your laptop screen.
