Special Attacks and Weapons

• Special attacks and weapons cheats can be entered at any time during game play. Hold down the four shoulder buttons, "R1, R2, L1, L2," together while pressing the button combination "Up, X, Left, Circle," and your weapons will never run out of ammunition. Press and hold the four shoulder buttons and enter the cheat "X, X, Triangle" for the Mega Machine Guns. Use the cheat "Right, Left, Down" to drop a mine behind you or "Right, Left, Up" to perform a Freeze attack. Enter the cheat "Left, Right, Down" followed immediately by any weapon firing button to fire the weapon backward. Press the button combination "L1, L2, R1, R2, Right, Left, Up" with a full yellow bar to fire both a freeze attack and fireball at the same time.

Hidden Health and Missiles

• Drive to the R &D Chemical Plant in the Downtown level and you will see three huge balls. Shoot the ball nearest to the sign to send it rolling into, and demolishing, a building. Three health pickups will be left in the wreckage for you to collect. Shoot the ball on the left and it too will demolish a building. This time six missiles will be revealed.

Secret Levels

• Drive to the wide building at the end of the Snowy Roads level and drive down the ledge next to it. Shoot the black cube to unlock the Power Plant level. Start a game in Endurance mode with any vehicle. Play in the Snowy Roads level and destroy 10 vehicles without being destroyed to unlock the Freeway Level. Also, in Endurance mode, destroy 10 vehicles in the Drive-In level to unlock the Mini-Suburbs level.

Other Cheats

• Press the button combination, "Right, Right, Down, Down" to protect your vehicle from enemy attacks with an energy shield. Or go a step further by entering "Up, Down, Left, Right, Right, Left, Down, Up" while holding down the shoulder buttons to become invincible to attacks or any other form of damage. Enter the cheat "Left, Left, Down, Down" and your vehicle will become invisible. Hold down the shoulder buttons and press "Right, Left, Down, Up" for unlimited Health and Turbo bars. To destroy vehicles with every shot, no matter how powerful the weapon, enter the cheat "X, X, Up" as you hold down the shoulder buttons.
