What are Power Attacks on Haunting Ground?

Fiona's Kick

• Fiona can always run away from or kick her enemies, but the kick is not that effective unless she has the "Silver Boots." Silver boots deal five times more damage than her normal kick. They drop off the butler, Riccardo, if you hit him enough times. "Burst Boots" also add more power to her attack since they can cause a small explosion when she makes contact with them. Input "POWDER" as the keyword to pick them up from the plate-key machine.

Hewie's Power Attack

• Hewie is often required to attack enemies at the request of Fiona. However, only one of Hewie's attacks is powerful enough to drop an enemy to the ground or make him run away. Order Hewie to sit and stay, then lure the enemy towards you. When Hewie is directly behind the enemy, facing his back, he will start to growl. Give him the order to attack, and he will lunge and bite the enemy on the neck.

Debilitas

• Debilitas is the first enemy in "Haunting Ground." He is a large, mentally debilitated man with powerful arms. Debilitas chases Fiona around the castle and will periodically raise his arms up above his head to smash them into Fiona. Avoid this at all costs, since it is a very powerful strike and will most likely kill her. It is a fairly easy attack to avoid since it is very slow. However, he will use it if Fiona ever falls to the ground.

Young Lorenzo

• Young Lorenzo is the final boss. His power attack is a shock wave that starts with Lorenzo punching the ground. This will often knock down and hurt Fiona or Hewie. The attack is not strong enough to kill them instantly, but it will slow them down. It is also difficult to avoid, but the player can move out of the way of Lorenzo's ground attack.
