How to Use the PS2 Multitap Pro Evolution

"Pro Evolution Soccer" is a video game series designed and manufactured by the Konami Corporation. The PlayStation 2 version of the "Pro Evolution Soccer" series features multiplayer support for up to eight game controllers. The PlayStation 2 features only two built-in native controller ports. Connecting Sony's Multitap accessory device to your PS2 will allow you to take advantage of the extended multiplayer support offered by "Pro Evolution Soccer." Connecting two Multitap devices to your game console will enable support for up to eight controllers.

  Turn off the PS2 game console.

  Insert the cord leading from the Multitap into the corresponding first player controller port and memory card slot, located on the front side of the game console.

  Connect a second Multitap device to the second player controller port and memory card slot, located to the right of the first player connections.

  Insert an optional memory card into the top "A" slot of the Multitap device. Connect the game controllers to the corresponding lettered controller ports found on the Multitap.

  Insert the game title into the PS2 and press the power button. Use controller "A" to set up a multiplayer game session, if desired.
