How to Unlock Liu Kang on Konquest

"Mortal Kombat: Deception" is a PlayStation 2 and Xbox game published by Midway. The game features many of the classic Mortal Kombat fighters as well as nine new characters as they battle against Dragon King Onaga, the game's main antagonist. Liu Kang, a character who first appeared in the original "Mortal Kombat" game, appears in Deception as a secret fighter. Unlocking Liu Kang involves beating the game in "Konquest" mode, then returning to Edenia a second time.

     Complete the game in Konquest mode once. Return to the Edenia realm at the next opportunity.

     Go to the the G-8 square (see Resources) using the map where you find a tent.

   • 3

     Wait until it is midnight Thursday in the game. A chest appears behind the tent.

   • 4

     Open the chest. You receive a "Krypt" key.

   • 5

     Visit the game's Krypt and use the key to open coffin "OT." Liu Kang is now unlocked.
