Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn off the PlayStation 2 console. Disconnect the red and white SCART audio connections from the television, if applicable.
Arrange the four satellite speakers in the room, positioning the front speakers near the television area and the rear speakers behind the primary listening area.
Place the rectangular-shaped center channel speaker directly above the television. Place the subwoofer unit near or behind the television, and make sure its placement area has plenty of airspace around all four sides.
Connect the supplied speaker wires from each speaker to the speaker terminals found at the rear of the subwoofer unit. Connect each speaker to the subwoofer unit one at a time to prevent confusion. The solid white striped wires connect to the "+" positive side terminals, while the remaining wire in the pair connects to each "-" negative terminal.
Connect the cable leading from the digital control module to the corresponding port found at the rear of the subwoofer unit. Secure the cable to the subwoofer by rotating the two thumbscrews clockwise.
Remove the protective caps located on each end of the digital optical cable.
Connect one end of the optical cable to the corresponding port located at the rear of the digital control module. Connect the remaining end of the optical cable to the PS2 rear optical port. Be careful not to touch the ends of the optical cable with your fingers.
Plug in the AC cord leading from the subwoofer unit to a suitable wall outlet. Turn on the television, PS2 and Logitech Z-680.
