The Sony PlayStation 2, released in October 2000, is the successor to the original Sony PlayStation console, and boasts improved graphical capabilities and better processing power. The system is also backward compatible, allowing users to play old PlayStation games on their console. Despite this feature. there are still a few PlayStation games that are not compatible with the PlayStation 2.

Difference Between PlayStation1 and PlayStation 2
- PlayStation 2 has more games and superior graphics to PlayStation 1. Unlike PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2 also has DVD and audio CD capabilities and can connect to the Internet.

- There is a small list of PlayStation games that cannot be played on the PlayStation 2. This is due to updated software on the PlayStation 2. The software is different in that some features have been discontinued.
