Good Manager Mode Team
Sign good players for your "Manager Mode" team for free. From the main menu, navigate to "Club Transfers" and transfer players that you want to sign onto the team that you are going to manage. Make a note of who you transfer. Start your "Manager Mode," and all the transferred players will be on your team. To move players back for other game modes, just save the "Manager Mode" game and transfer players back to their original clubs in the "Club Transfers" menu.
Never Lose
There is a simple trick to guarantee you never lose games. From the in game pause menu choose "Select Sides" and move the controller symbol to the other team. Un-pause the game, and you will now be playing as the opposing team. Simply score own goals until your team is winning comfortably.
Beat Defenders
Some skill moves in "FIFA 08" can be tricky to pull off. However, there is an easy way to get past good defenders using a very simple skill move. Sprint alongside the defender using the back "RB" button. When you get near the box, press the back "LB" skill button, and your player will stop and turn sharply. As you stop midsprint, the defender will continue for a while, allowing you to turn inside and get into the box.
Finesse Shot
For more accurate shots and to increase your chances of scoring try using the finesses hot. To do a finesse shot hold the front "R" button, then charge your shot with the "O" button. When you release the "O" button your player will use a more accurate finesse shot.
