How to Get Online With a PS2 Slim With an Ethernet Cord and PC Without a Modem

Owners of the original PlayStation 2 console could add a network peripheral to their system's expansion bay that enables them to connect to the Internet using either a phone line modem or an Ethernet cable. The Slimline version of the Sony PlayStation 2 does not have an expansion bay, but includes an Ethernet port on the system, which allows users with broadband Internet service to play PS2 games online with other players.
