Cheats for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon on the PlayStation 2

"Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" was originally a martial arts movie directed by Ang Lee and released in 2000. It was made into a video game in 2003 for the Xbox, Game Boy Advance and PlayStation 2. The PlayStation version of the game had a range of hints and cheats that unlocked new costumes, game modes and clips from the movie.
  1. Movie Clips

    • Receiving an "A" rating for your performance in the end of each character's scene, or level, will unlock a clip from the "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" movie. In Shu Lien's story, an "A" grade in Scene 1 earns the "Restaurant fight" movie clip, and scene 2 unlocks "Shu's Teaser" movie clip. For part 1 to 3 of the movie clip "Dojo Duel" complete scenes 3 to 5 of Shu Lien's story.

Scenes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Jen's story unlock "Theft Part 1," "Theft Part 2," "Jen's Teaser," "Desert Part 1" and "Desert Part 2," respectively. Unlock "Death of Jade Fox," "Bamboo Forest," "Golden Hills Part 1," "Golden Hills Part 2" and "Mu Bai's Teaser" by completing the five scenes of Li Mu Bai's story in order.

    Outfits

    • Once you have completed the game and unlocked Survival Mode you can begin to earn new costumes. Start a game on Survival Mode. Defeat the boss on the Tea House level to receive Jen's Incognito Outfit. Beat the boss in the Temple level for Jen's College Girl Outfit. Kill the enemy boss in the level Courtyard for Shu Lien's Chinese Wedding Outfit. Unlock her All Dressed Up Outfit by defeating the Dojo Court boss. Unlock the Chinese Wedding Outfit for Li Mu Bai by killing the Waterfall boss.

    Completing the Game

    • Complete the story mode to unlock a variety of features. A range of mini-games will be available, as will Survival Mode, cut scenes from the game, a gallery of the game's costumes and a documentary about the making of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" the game.

    Fly Away from Trouble

    • If your health is running low in a battle, fly to a safe distance so that you can recover as your enemies trail you. Even though many enemies can fly, they are very unlikely to use this ability.
