How to Enter Action Replay on the GenPlus Emulator for PS3

The Sega Genesis Plus, or GenPlus, is an emulator that runs off the PS3 via the USB port. It allows for the replication of a Sega Genesis or Mega Drive system, offering players access to games and applications from these past consoles. With the addition of an Action Replay interface, special codes can be given to alter the gaming experience, providing gamers with a new twist on old games.

Instructions

      Locate the GenPlus folder on your computer. Rename the Action Replay file as ̶0;areplay.bin̶1; and import it into the ̶0;/genplus̶1; directory.

      Connect the USB flash drive to your computer. Drag and drop the GenPlus folder onto the drive.

      Remove the hardware and insert it into the PlayStation 3 USB slot. Load up the PS3 and select ̶0;Genesis Plus GX̶1; from the main menu.

      Find the "Action Replay" button in the bottom left corner of the screen. Switch it to ̶0;On̶1; to activate Action Replay.

      Select ̶0;Load Game̶1; from the main menu. The Action Replay will act as a ̶0;Lock-on̶1; device that will bypass the main game and allow you to input code.

      Input the code into the box and press ̶0;Start̶1; to begin the game.
