How to Install a GBA PS3 Emulator

The Nintendo Gameboy Advance is a classic handheld console that has hundreds of great games available for it. To relive the fun of all of those GBA classics, you can install a GBA emulator on your Sony PlayStation 3 and play all of your GBA games right from your PS3.

Things You'll Need

VBA-PS3 PKG file
USB flash drive

Instructions

  Download the VBA-PS3 installation PKG file from the developer's website or from a download mirror.

  Connect a USB flash drive to one of your computer's USB ports. Click the "Open folder to view files" option from the "Autorun" window that comes up to see the files on the USB flash drive.

  Drag the VBA-PS3 PKG file into the USB flash drive window. Unplug the USB flash drive from the computer.

  Plug the USB flash drive into the PS3 USB port.

  Select "Install Package Files" in the PS3 menu. Select the "VBA-PS3.PKG" file and it will be installed.

  Press the "O" button to go back to the PS3 menu. The VBA-PS3 icon will now be under the "Game" tab on the PS3 menu.
