How to Connect a Gibson PS3 Guitar

Guitar Hero comes with various different guitars that can be used to control the game. One of the more popular models is the Gibson Les Paul Guitar Hero controller. Like other Guitar Hero controllers, the Gibson version comes with a wireless adapter so you can rock without any wires between you and the TV screen.

Instructions

  Insert the Gibson guitar adapter into the PS3's first USB port. The light located on the adapter will light up. Press the "PS" button on the guitar to turn it on.

  Turn the PS3 on and insert the Guitar Hero game. Hold the "Connect" button on the USB adapter you plugged in.

  Press the "PS" button on the Gibson guitar controller and the lights on the controller will begin to blink. The guitar is now synced with the PS3.

  Press any of the buttons on the Gibson guitar controller to verify that the controller is now connected and working properly.
- 5
  Select the Guitar Hero game from the PS3 menu's "Game" tab to start the game.
